The travertine once again takes center stage in the settings of one of the most popular series of the moment, “Los favoritos de midas.” Margar Stone company once again decorates the environments in another highly successful series this year, 2020 and 2021.
The Netflix platform series has used two of the homes built in the Madrid area by the Almería marble company. This marble is extracted from its own travertine quarries in the town of Albox and transformed in its own factory near the same extraction area.
In one of the homes, the same travertine marble has been applied to the exterior paving in a standard travertine tile format. At the same time, the same material has been used for the facade of the house, achieving travertine cladding combined with Corten steel.
In the other home where part of the scenes have been focused, we can observe the paving made of its own travertine marble. Scenes always starring its main actor, Luis Tosar, who manages to bring great suspense to this drama.
This second home, where travertine is part of the settings for the series ‘Los favoritos de midas,’ has the particularity that it has been used in other similar events. It was primarily used in the Antena 3 series, also a success early this year, titled “El Nudo,” starring Natalia Verbeke.
