Contemporary villa in yellow travertine (vein-cut)
Facade, flooring, and pool with interior–exterior continuity using vein-cut yellow travertine. Project completed with Margar Stone natural stone.
Material featured in a location of Season 4 of Alpha Males (one of the most-watched series worldwide).
Project description
This contemporary villa is conceived as a set of pure volumes where natural stone provides texture, warmth, and presence. The yellow travertine is applied as a “total look,” achieving visual continuity between the facade, exterior flooring, and even the pool area.
The aesthetic goal is clear: clean architecture + noble material . The result is a timeless language that works both with harsh exterior light and in interior–exterior transitions.
Applications and zones
Facade and cladding
Large panels clad with vein-cut yellow travertine, reinforcing the horizontal/vertical reading of the volume and elevating the perception of quality.
Interior–exterior flooring
Use of natural stone to accompany spatial continuity. It unifies rooms, terraces, and pathways with a coherent aesthetic.
Pool and surroundings
The material provides tone and visual stability in a key area of the project. The choice of finish and correct specification are essential.
The material: vein-cut yellow travertine
The “vein-cut” (al corte) highlights the direction of the grain and creates a more linear pattern, especially suitable for contemporary architecture. This project seeks:
- Continuity: the same aesthetic family in different areas.
- Warmth: a yellow-gold tone that softens straight volumes.
- Coherence: the material accompanies the design, it does not compete with it.
