Large-format travertines and marbles are now ready for on-site application as natural materials.
When considering large-format marble, the limitation of certain types of marble slabs for on-site use has always been a concern. Today, with travertine, we can achieve this by applying special resins to the marble slab. For this, we use special travertine resin and fiber mesh in the transformation process. These special resin applications are used for both the front and back surfaces of the slab.
From this transformed travertine or marble, as in this project, we are able to install complete pieces up to 265cm in height.
This working system, sometimes artisanal, has made it possible to launch certain stones and marbles onto the market that were previously unused due to their high breakage rate during transformation. This has, in turn, allowed for the creation of new textures in travertine and its introduction into new markets.
Margar Stone is a company that, from its inception, has always focused on R&D&I. This has led us to develop our own factory working systems. To achieve this, we have collaborated with specialized resin laboratories for the development of resins for natural stone.
