A Safer and More Welcoming Public Space
In a municipal square, paving and urban elements must withstand continuous use and outdoor conditions. For this reason, this intervention opted for a solution in Gold Travertine that combines aesthetic presence with outdoor performance, aiming for a durable and comfortable result.
Outdoor Paving in Gold Travertine with Aged Non-Slip Finish
The paving was executed with Gold Travertine Marble and an aged non-slip finish, especially suitable for high-traffic areas. This treatment adds texture, reinforces the material’s artisanal feel, and contributes to improved outdoor safety.
- Safety: non-slip finish for outdoor use.
- Aesthetics: aged texture and warm travertine tone.
- Durability: solution designed for intensive public space use.
Natural Stone Urban Furniture
The project is completed with integrated natural stone benches, manufactured from the same Gold Travertine. This material continuity reinforces the visual coherence of the ensemble and provides a robust solution for a municipal environment.
Acknowledgements
We would like to thank the town of María for embracing the project and, especially, Mr. José Antonio García Alcaina, for his commitment to improving the municipality with noble materials and solutions designed to last.

Public Works in Natural Stone
These types of interventions demonstrate the value of natural stone in public works: a choice that provides identity, resistance, and low maintenance when appropriate materials and finishes are selected for outdoor use.
