The company Margar Stone applies its new rubblework travertine product in a single-family housing project in a residential development in the Madrid area. The product itself, extracted from its own quarries, is a derivative of its rustic travertine range.

The material is a stone similar to masonry, with a thickness between 2.5 and 3.5 cm and a naturally profiled edge, which is marketed in 25 m² pallets. Its particularity is that it can only be worked by hand, which makes its manufacturing process slow.

The company itself, part of the Yellow Travertine group, is proud that the first project executed with this new product is a luxury home, achieving both interior and exterior environments with the same product.

The project, which began in September 2018, is scheduled to be completed in June 2019. It features yellow travertine floors in a honed and filled finish and exterior floors with the same marble but in a natural finish. On the facades of the house, yellow travertine will also be installed in a natural finish in a free-length format, along with an area of exterior walls that meet the interior walls in rubblework travertine stone.
